UE Sant Andreu vs Atletico Madrid 31/10/18

31 October 2018

UE Sant Andreu and Atletico Madrid are set for a face-to-face encounter in Copa del Rey round of 32, as the match shall take place at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.

A team that currently competes in the Tercera Division – Group 5 stands virtually no chance against La Liga giants although they are undefeated in the past seven matches in all competitions. The Quadribarrats have eliminated Calahorra in the previous cup round thanks to a late extra-time goal, after which they’ve secured four points in the following two league meetings. Sant Andreu’s last home defeat dates back to January, as they’ve dodged a failure in the next 19 encounters in front of the home fans.

On the other hand, Los Colchoneros outplayed Real Sociedad at home last weekend after being hammered by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. With only five goals conceded so far, Los Rojiblancos have the best defensive record in La Liga, having kept a clean sheet five times in the past six league clashes. Additionally, they’ve only conceded more than one goal on two occasions this year. However, Diego Simeone’s main concern relates to his team’s attacking performance, as Atletico managed to score a brace just six times in a total of 13 matches across all competitions.
