Although Mancini started his adventure with the national team by defeating Saudi Arabia in a friendly, he has failed to secure a victory ever since. In the past five games, La Nazionale have suffered two losses and played out three draws, including the one with Ukraine in midweek’s friendly challenge.

The leading European goalscorer this season Krzysztof Piatek will spearhead Poland’s attack alongside Robert Lewandowski. As for the visitors, Ciro Immobile should return to the starting eleven after commencing the encounter with Ukraine on the bench.
