Manchester United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to post his seventh consecutive victory since taking charge of the Red Devils.

Not only the 3-time Champions League winners won all of their last six competitive matches, but they’ve also managed to keep a clean sheet three times in a row ahead of this round. Under Solskjaer’s tutelage, the Red Devils have scored over 1.5 goals per match five times, hitting the net in the first half of each game in the process. What’s more, Man Utd are unbeaten in their last eight home outings in all competitions (W6, D2), having scored over 1.5 goals per match six times during the run. Now, the English giants look to get their revenge on Brighton, who beat them in two successive H2H meetings, including the one that took place back in August.

Meanwhile, a 1-0 loss to Liverpool has brought the Seagulls’ four-game unbeaten run (W2, D2) to an end, as it was also the third time in the last eight games that Chris Hughton’s players failed to hit the back of the net. Winless on their previous three road trips (D1, L2), Brighton remain as one of the worst away sides in the English top flight (W2, D2, L7). What’s more, the Seagulls have struggled to keep a clean sheet on ten of 11 PL road trips this campaign, conceding over 1.5 goals per match seven times in the process. Moreover, only three teams have scored fewer goals on the road than Brighton (9) so far, with Hughton’s men failing to find the net on five occasions while scoring over 1.5 goals per match only three times.
