Leganes’ first objective for this season was to avoid relegation, and after some brilliant performances throughout the year, they are now comfortably residing in the middle of the table. Therefore, The Legionaries can be relaxed against in-form visitors, who have six victories in last seven La Liga matches, as they are hoping to end a dreadful five-game losing streak against Valencia. Asier Garitano’s side have won two straight encounters in front of the home supporters after three winless games in a row, while The Bats lost two out of their previous five away matches while winning two times.

Jon Serantes has suffered a knee injury and might not be ready for the game, while Alexander Szymanowski could recover from illness. Marcelino García is hopeful Santi Mina can overcome minor thigh issue, while Javier Jimenez Garcia and Francis Coquelin have to watch the game from the stands, as both are dealing with serious injuries.
