Relegation-threatened Leganes entertain newly-crowned league champions, Real Madrid, at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque in the final round of the 2019/20 La Liga fixtures.

Despite racking up four straight league matches without a loss (W3, D1), the hosts need to pick up three points here and hope Celta won’t beat rock-bottom Espanyol on the road to avoid relegation. Leganes’ recent upturn in form came as a result of a notable defensive improvement, as Los Pepineros have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four La Liga fixtures after previously failing to do so in eight of nine games prior. Yet, for Leganes, goals have been at a premium this calendar year. In turn, Real’s rock-solid defense has conceded a league-low four first-half goals on the road this season. Despite failing to shut out Leganes in each of their last three top-flight away H2Hs (W2, D1), Los Blancos must be confident of winning as both of their successes in their previous such clashes produced a two-goal margin.
