Lazio and Vicenza Virtus go head to head at the Stadio Olimpico in a friendly showdown this weekend.

Lazio go into this clash on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Padova, which marked a slight upturn to a 2-2 draw with Triestina in their opening summer friendly. The ‘Biancocelesti’ have been quite impressive at home this calendar year, picking up 11 wins from 15 matches since the calendar flipped (D2, L2). Notably, nine of those triumphs have seen Lazio score over 1.5 goals, with six yielding a full-time margin greater than one goal. Curiously, none of their H2H meetings held at this venue in the 21st century has seen a draw (W2, L1), with each of those results (wins/loss) producing a single-goal margin.

As for the visitors, they started their summer preparations with a 3-0 win over FeralpiSalo. But they’ve failed to build on that, succumbing to a 3-2 away loss to Udinese immediately after.
