Germany vs Brazil 28/03/18

28 March 2018

The 2016 FIFA World Cup 2016 semi-finalists, Germany and Brazil, will face each other at the Olympiastadion in Berlin as a part of the preparation for Russia. Both sides have huge ambitions ahead of the most prestigious international tournament, especially the Germans, who are looking to defend the title, while the Green and Yellow want their revenge after a humiliating 7-1 defeat to Die Mannschaft in front of the home supporters. Brazil have improved a lot since the appointment of Tite, especially their backline that managed to keep a clean sheet six times in the previous eight matches. The Seleção have continued to provide impressive performances after dominance in qualifications, as they’ve beaten Russia and Japan, scoring six goals in these two games. As for Germany, their last loss dates back to 2016, when France defeated them at the EURO by two goals to nil. Since then, the current World champions have won sixteen out of twenty-one games. However, the European giants have failed to achieve a victory in three consecutive matches, against England, France, and Spain. Joachim Low is determined to end this winless streak against the five-time World champions.
Ozil and Muller have left the squad for undisclosed reasons. Emre Can has suffered a back injury, and he has already returned to Liverpool. Brazil will be without Neymar, but Tite has the rest of his players fit for the encounter.
