Paris Saint-Germain will look to post their first Ligue 1 triumph following two straight draws, as they prepare to take on a struggling Dijon side at the Stade Gaston Gerard this weekend.

A tumultuous Ligue 1 campaign for the hosts so far has seen them suffering nine losses in 17 league fixtures, which is the second-worst record in the French top flight. A 2-1 win over Guingamp in their last home meeting has brought their frustrating six-game winless home run (D1, L5) to an end, as it was also the second time this season Les Rouges scored two goals per match in front of the local fans. Dijon’s immense problems in the final third have seen Olivier Dall’Oglio’s men failing to hit the back of the net four times in eight home encounters in the French top-tier competition. Furthermore, only Guingamp (16) conceded more goals at home that DFCO (15) this term, with Dijon keeping a clean sheet at Stade Gaston Gerard only twice since the start of the season.

After securing a maximum of 42 points after the opening 14 league matches, the reigning holders were held to two consecutive draws to Bordeaux and Strasbourg. However, Thomas Tuchel’s men have bounced back from a slight crisis, having hammered Crvena Zvezda Belgrade 4-1 on the road in the last Champions League group stage fixture. Before playing out a 1-1 draw with Strasbourg, PSG have scored at least two goals in each of their remaining seven road games in the domestic championship this term, which is an absolute Ligue 1 high. Additionally, only two teams have shipped fewer goals than PSG (7) on the road this season, with Tuchel’s players keeping a clean sheet three times so far. The French giants have also wrapped up four successive wins in Dijon in a sequence spanning back to February 2012.
