Brazil vs Cameroon 21/11/18
21 November 2018
At the Stadium MK in Milton Keynes, England, Brazil and Cameroon will face-off against each other in a friendly meeting, which will see the South Americans looking to extend a 5-game winning streak.
The 5-time World Cup winners have won all five matches after the conclusion of the final tournament that took place in Russia this summer. The United States, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Uruguay all got outplayed by Tite’s team, who kept a clean sheet in all those encounters. Moreover, the South American heavyweights have featured in 14 games in 2018 and managed to protect their net on twelve occasions. Apart from a 1-1 draw with Switzerland and a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Belgium at the World Cup, Brazil won all 12 remaining matches this year without conceding a single goal in the process. However, this will be the first time the Selecao meet an African national team since 2014 when they’ve demolished their upcoming opponents by four goals to one.
On the other hand, the Indomitable Lions are not having the best of times, considering they’ve only managed to clinch two triumphs in the previous ten games across all competitions. Not only Cameroon failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but they’ve finished 3rd in their respective qualifying group behind the likes of Nigeria and Zambia. Clarence Seedorf, who took charge of the team back in August, has so far led Cameroon from the touchline in four matches, where he secured one victory, having played out two draws and suffered one defeat in the process. A few days ago, the Indomitable Lions lost 2-0 to Morocco, which was the second consecutive time they’ve failed to find the back of the net.
