Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Emirates Stadium forms the backdrop for an all-London Premier League showdown between Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal may have already waved goodbye to their Premier League title hopes, but they’ll be keen to spoil Liverpool’s potential coronation, which could happen if the Gunners lose today. Mikel Arteta’s side should feel confident about keeping the celebrations on hold, especially considering their impressive home form, having lost just three of their last 36 Premier League outings at the Emirates (W26, D7). However, two of those defeats did come in London derbies. The Gunners head into this clash on the back of a commanding 4-0 win over ten-man Ipswich, stretching their unbeaten run in all competitions to 11 matches (W6, D5). With six straight wins against Palace, including a 5-1 thumping in December’s reverse fixture, they’re perfectly positioned to build further momentum ahead of the Champions League semi-finals against PSG.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace showed grit with a battling 0-0 draw against Bournemouth after back-to-back humiliations at the hands of Manchester City and Newcastle – both of which saw them concede five goals. That result earned the Eagles their 24th point of 2025 (W7, D3, L4), a tally bettered by only five sides in the Premier League this calendar year. It’s a testament to the impressive work Tottenham-linked manager Oliver Glasner has done since taking charge at Selhurst Park as the German bids to lead Palace to a third consecutive win in Premier League away London derbies for the first time since 1997.
