Although the season seemed lost in November, the Rossoneri have significantly raised their game under Gennaro Gattuso’s guidance, and now they have every intention of challenging Inter and Roma for the Champions League promotion. The seven-time European champions have managed to keep a clean sheet six times in a row in all competitions, while their city rivals failed to score in four out of their previous six games. The visitors are eager to impress following rather disappointing performances over the last couple of months. The home team is still without Andrea Conti, who has recently returned to full training after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury last September.
