AC Milan vs Crotone 06/01/2018
06 Jan 2018
Many might remember the first meeting of the season in Gameweek 1. AC Milan easily strode to a 3-0 win – albeit Crotone were a man down after just four minutes – giving an early indication that they will be up there challenging.
Since then, summer big spenders Milan have spiraled down to mid-table position, settling on 25 points, a whopping 23 behind leaders Napoli!
Vincenzo Montella is long gone and already, there are doubts on his successor Gennaro Gattuso, who has started to talk down resignation talks!
This is the one game Crotone head coach Walter Zenga, who was also appointed the same time as Gattuso, will want to win very much, given he failed to defeat Milan as a manager in the past.
Nikola Kalinic is racing against time to be ready for Milan after an ankle injury, so Patrick Cutrone or Andre Silva could lead the attack.
For Crotone, Arlind Ajeti is back after his one-match ban, but Daniel Pavlovic, Mariano Izco, Andrea Nalini and Marco Tumminello are still sidelined.
Crotone have never beaten the Rossoneri, managing a single 1-1 draw and three losses between Serie A and the Italian Cup.
