AC Milan vs Arsenal 09/03/18
10 March 2018
Arsenal will try to save their disastrous season in the Premier League through the Europa League, but it won’t be easy as they are set to face in-form AC Milan. The Italian giants are yet to lose a match in 2018 in all competitions, and after eliminating the Bulgarian side Ludogorets, they intend to maintain a successful year against the North London team. The Rossoneri have won four out of previous five home games conceding only one goal in the process, while the Gunners lost four times in a row, including a miserable defeat to Ostersunds at the Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger’s squad is in a big crisis, and the fans are not at all happy with team’s recent performances, that’s why Arsenal need to get a positive result at the San Siro. After firing Vincenzo Montella, Milan have started collecting points in Serie A, but their intention is to secure the Champions League football by winning the Europa League, which will be far from simple.
Gennaro Gatusso won’t have Andrea Conti, Luca Antonelli, and Ignazio Abate at his disposal, as all are struggling with injuries. However, all of his key players are fit for the encounter. The visitors will play without the injured Alexandre Lacazette, Nacho Monreal, and Santi Cazorla, who is expected to miss the rest of the season.
